Coming from further afield?

Herne Bay is on SouthEastern's north Kent coast line, with good links to London Victoria, London Bridge or St Pancras International. The National Rail Enquiries service will help you plan your journey. The station is near the Memorial Park, and you can either stroll through that to reach the town centre or head straight down Station Road to the seafront.

National Express coaches also stop at the bus station, in the High Street, and run from London Victoria Coach Station, via the Medway Towns.

The bus is another good way to get to Herne Bay, and the local operator is Stagecoach

The Triangle route runs between Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable every 10 - 15 minutes during the day time, and there are also buses to Margate and to Canterbury via Marshside.

From Canterbury, you can catch a bus to Folkestone, Sandwich, Deal, Dover, Chartham, Wye, Ashford and Faversham.
